Option B

Fully Online

Available year-round — start anytime

Approximately 10–12 hours of self-paced work, including reading cases, viewing case discussion videos, and responding to reflection questions. Complete on your own schedule.

Eligibility

Teachers currently teaching 9th–12th grade U.S. history, U.S. government, civics, world history, or other relevant social studies courses.

What you receive

Access to all 23 cases via ShareVault, detailed teaching materials, CMI Teacher Portal video resources, and ongoing one-on-one support.

Cost

Everything is provided at no charge — professional development, cases, materials, and ongoing support.

Time

Total time investment depends on your selected program. After that, use cases entirely at your own pace throughout the school year.

For schools & districts

Bringing the case method to your department, school, or district.

CMI's program works at any scale — whether one teacher in a department or an entire district. There are no per-teacher fees, licensing costs, or institutional commitments. Teachers self-register individually, and no administrative sign-off is required.

Our team is available to answer questions, provide materials for administrators, and facilitate group onboarding for schools and districts that want to coordinate enrollment.
